The lab is recruiting two fully funded PhD researchers to start in September 2027, each with a guaranteed four-year funding package.
Climate impact and policy modelling — linking compound climate extremes to the losses they produce, and turning that link into evidence for adaptation policy.
Agricultural monitoring and crop yield modelling — extending the HarvestStat archive of harmonized subnational crop statistics, and building yield models from satellite data, climate reanalysis, and geospatial foundation models.
Applications are through the 2027F-GRA Research Interest Form, with priority consideration on 15 October 2026. An earlier start in May 2027 may be available — applicants interested in that should apply by 15 September 2026.
