I am a MSc student in Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba, supervised by Dr. Donghoon Lee. I have completed my undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. During my academic journey, I have developed a deep passion for climate change & environmental engineering, and I am eager to further explore and contribute to this field through advanced studies and research. During undergrad studies, my final year project was on “Changes in human heat discomfort and its drivers in Bangladesh.” It got published in the journal ‘Urban Climate’ through Elsevier publication. Through my previous research experience, I developed a strong interest in pursuing research work. Besides, I worked at AISEC in Malaysia, where I got the opportunity to work on projects related to climate change, as the projects were focused on SDG 13 (Climate Action). As a marketing team member, I also got the chance to spread awareness about this issue. All these experiences made me more curious about environmental issues as well as climate change. I am driven to study the interactions between environmental and climatological factors and their effects and influences.
